Gadep

Gadep is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Gadep and his components were only available with the campaign prize version of Brave Maximus, titled "Cybertron City" and promoted under the "Your Room Is a Cybertron Base! Campaign" (君の部屋がサイバトロン基地だ！キャンペーン) that ran from March 16, 2000, to June 30, 2000. A blue redeco of Generation 1 Cog, Gadep is formed by combining the two armored cars, Guardia and Protect; the process involves little more than removing Guardia's arms and re-pegging them on his sides and then pegging the two vehicles together. The top of Guardia's vehicle mode is sculpted to securely fit Plasma or any other large Generation 1 Headmaster figure.

Cog was also redecoed into Super-God Masterforce Cog.

Notes

• Gadep reuses the Japanese name for the Guardian robots. Unlike e-HOBBY's retroactive justification of the name as an acronym of "Groundling Auto-Destruct Powerbroker", this Gadep seems to just get it from "Guardia" (ガーディア) and "Protect" (プロテクト).
