Starscream has gotten what he wanted... and it wasn't what he expected.

Synopsis

Starscream has always been a villain. Being second-in-command to Megatron made leadership, always just out of reach, a tantalising prospect to the Decepticon, and for a long time he schemed, and struck, and failed, and then schemed again, never giving up on the dream of taking command. And then one day, the dream suddenly came true.

Alongside Rodimus Prime and the Camien Mistress of Flame, Starscream now sits on Cybertron's ruling council, and has unexpectedly found his lust for power gone, replaced by a newfound sense of responsibility. With the Combiner Wars having begun, leadership is a heavy burden – one that has changed Starscream forever.

Soaring through the skies, Starscream cuts out his engines, transforms, and for a few moments, simply falls. Just above Cybertron's tallest spires, he transforms again, and flies over the planet that is now his responsibility.

(Numbers indicate order of appearance.)

Trivia

  • As it turns out, Starscream is lying through his teeth, to himself, as "A War of Giants" will reveal that he was actually playing a long-con that would allow him to take over Cybertron with the Enigma of Combination.
