Venue

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, major conventions had to be closed to protect guests and attendees throughout 2020. However, some conventions instead opted to hold virtual events online. Hasbro followed suit with Hasbro PulseCon, which was announced on August 31, 2020[1]. A sneak peek was released the day before the event, which promoted a revival of HeroQuest. The convention proper started on Friday, September 25, 2020, and ran for two days. PulseCon also provided exclusives to Hasbro Pulse members in the United States and Canada.

Guests

Fall Out Boy, Lights, and Tenacious D also made musical appearances.

Events

PulseCon had a very full and very varied schedule of panels and events all weekend, but we'll keep our focus on the Transformers-related stuff. The complete schedule can be found here.

The Voices that Inspired Generations of Transformers Fans

Notes

  • Hasbro has said that PulseCon was meant for US and Canada fans only, but some fans across the world have reported that the stream was not geolocked. Hmmm...
