The name or term "Watchdog" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Watchdog (disambiguation).
The watchdogs are salukis, from the Dark of the Moon portion of the live-action film series.

The watchdogs are pets of Dylan Gould. They live at his residence in Washington, D.C., and are often brought to his workspace at Hotchkiss Gould Investments.

Actors: Shooter and Hottie

When Sam Witwicky visited his girlfriend, Carly, at her workplace at Gould Investments, he walked by the watcdogs, prompting one to growl at the human, who kept a steady distance. A few days later, the watchdogs were brought to Trump Tower in Chicago with Dylan and Carly, now hostage to the CEO. When Sentinel Prime ordered the Decepticons to invade the city, Dylan ordered his aides to keep his dogs safe. Once the city was secured, the dogs were left in the same room with Carly and kept docile temperaments despite the ongoing violence outside. Dark of the Moon

Notes

  • The watchdogs went unnamed. The junior novelization of Dark of the Moon refers to the dogs as "watchdogs".
