A Decepticon airstrike begins raining down fire upon the surrounding area. Morshower orders Optimus and Bumblebee to engage, while also ordering a N.E.S.T. strike team to protect the new recruits. Armed soldiers scramble as more explosions let loose on the nearby buildings.

Stepping up to the podium, the general welcomes the new recruits and declares that they, as first of the new recruits, shall bear witness to the activation of the facility by the power of the one and only [[AllSpark]].  


But first, Morshower offers to give recognition to certain individuals whose efforts have been crucial to this occasion. The first guest is award-winning filmmaker and director [[Michael Bay]], who served as a consultant in the training facility's construction. Via secure satellite transmission, an onscreen message from Bay is shown on a nearby presentation screen, in which he greets the recruits, briefly summarizes his involvement in creating the facility, and hopes that everyone enjoys it.

Optimus commends the new recuits for their own bravery and wishes them well in their training at the facility. N.E.S.T. Command then radios in requesting clearance for Black Diamond to begin Operation: Golf-Oscar-Foxtrot. Morshower gives the word and Brad gets the crowd excited to begin their training.


A communique alerts the general of imminent [[Decepticon]] attack and Morshower gives Optimus the order to send forth the Allspark. N.E.S.T. soldiers scramble to secure the perimeter and protect the recruits as fire and explosions let loose in the surrounding area. As Optimus and Bumblebee <s>just sit parked doing nothing</s> continue to hold their position, an armored truck pulls up to deliver the AllSpark, which is contained within a protective canister. One of the N.E.S.T. soldiers takes it and brings it to Morshower, who prepares to lock it into place to activate the new facility. But before he can, Megatron appears on the screen, declaring that Morshower is too late.
Overhead, celebratory fireworks ignite and the Black Diamond Jet Team does a ceremonial flyover in V formation. To close the ceremony, Brad announces that the new training facility, ''[[Transformers: The Ride – 3D]]'', is officially open! As recruits make their way into the facility to begin their training, saluted by Morshower along the way, the Black Diamond Jet Team makes another flyover in formation. Optimus and Bumblebee silently stick around for a bit before eventually rolling out, escorted away by a team of N.E.S.T. soldiers.  
 
However, Optimus counters Megatron's attempts to stop Morshower; the general succeeds in locking the AllSpark in place and brings the new training facility fully online. Megatron is defeated and a massive explosion erupts above the facility as confetti rains down in celebration of N.E.S.T.'s victory. Morshower concludes the ceremony by declaring ''Transformers: The Ride – 3D'' now officially open, and recruits begin to swarm the facility's entrance.

  • The cast:
  • Also in attendance of this event were Peter Cullen and Frank Welker in person, Steven Spielberg, Anthony Anderson, and even Judd Apatow.[1]
  • Optimus and Bumblebee are physically portrayed by their onscreen vehicles seen in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, while Megatron only appears first as a voice over a loudspeaker and then as a CG animated figure on the presentation screen, with new footage of him created for just this occasion.
  • This is the first instance of General Morshower being referred to as "General Glenn Morshower", in honor his actor. This would be repeated a year later at the similar event in Orlando.
  • As Morshower is called to the stage at the beginning of the ceremony, a dossier displaying his name, rank, and status info appears on the presentation screen. His rank is given as "General, N.E.S.T. HQ", and his status info reads "Maintains the relationship and daily operations of the Autobot alliance for the Nonbiological Extraterrestrial Species Treaty."
  • Michael Bay's brief message is presented from an out-of-universe, real-world perspective, describing Transformers: The Ride – 3D as what it is, a ride at Universal Studios; whereas everyone else involved in this event acts in-character, treating the ride as a new training facility for the N.E.S.T. recruits.
  • The AllSpark is depicted as a jagged shard of its original cubed state, in accordance to its last film appearance in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
