Highfire

Highfire is a Transformer from the 2019 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The first one who makes an Avengers: Infinity War joke gets it.

Highfire was a friend of Cyclonus before meeting her untimely demise. She probably died by getting disintegrated.

A friend of Cyclonus, along with Gridlock, Grudge, Paragon and Provoke, Highfire was killed during the War of the Threefold Spark. As a coping mechanism, brought on by survivor's guilt, Cyclonus began seeing ghosts of his friends, Highfire included. The Cracks Beneath Your Feet Part Four Darkness, Once Gazed Upon: Part One

Once the War ended, Cyclonus took up vigil at the Iacon Memorial Crater. Two megacycles after the war, he witnessed the murder of Brainstorm from a distance. Shortly thereafter Windblade and Chromia came investigating. Chromia insisted Cyclonus make his way into the city to tell security services what he knew, but once she was gone Highfire inquired as to whether he would. Cyclonus said no, which Highfire felt was a shame, having liked Brainstorm and feeling they should have helped. Especially by mentioning that other bot they'd seen walking around the transmission line. The World In Your Eyes Part Four

As Cyclonus kept his vigil at the crater, Highfire opined whether it was healthy for him to stay there at all, getting incensed when Gridlock's ghost cracked wise about Cyc's mental condition. The Cracks Beneath Your Feet Part One

A short time later, the memorial crater was badly damaged by the Ascenticons destroying a base they'd secretely maintained underneath it. As Cyclonus took in the damage, Highfire noted he was angry. Discussion turned to Cyclonus's own mental health, and Highfire suggested bringing in Paragon, citing Froid's argument that the pain would dissolve Cyclonus's anger and guilt, a stance Provoke's ghost disagreed with. The discussion was interrupted by Hot Spot getting Cyc's attention, and revealing Sixshot was the presumed culprit. The Change In Your Nature Part Five Looking to find Chromia so he could find Sixshot, Cyclonus went to Iacon. However, Prowl rebuffed him, telling Cyclonus to go away. As they left, Highfire noticed the tension in the crowds around them, and wondered what the cause was. Rise of the Decepticons: We Have Deceived You

When the Ascenticons, now renamed Decepticons, proceeded to stage a military coup, Cyclonus hid in Iacon, still searching for Sixshot. In the aftermath, he overheard a pair of Decepticons mentioning where the six-changer was. War World: Awakenings Making his way to Decepticon headquarters, Cyclonus forced entrance when the doormech proved uncooperative. As he entered, Highfire agreed with Provoke's demand they let Cyclonus concentrate on his revenge, but noted that as much faith as she had in him, Sixshot was a tough target to face. War World: Hunt

Several cycles afterwards, Cyclonus learned the real Provoke had been found alive and supposedly well beneath the remains of the memorial crater, utterly destroyed in the Decepticon uprising. He went to see her, but the revived Provoke coldly brushed him off. While Gridlock's ghost was simply happy to have the hallucinatory version of their dead comrade gone, Highfire was uncertain, finding something decidedly unhealthy about the whole affair.
