Beast Wars Universe is a Japanese-exclusive guidebook, licensed by Takara and published by SONY Magazines in 2000. It features a wealth of information about the Beast Wars toyline, animated series, and production process.
Note that while this book is in Japanese, it deals only in the U.S. characters and continuity, referring to appropriate characters as "Optimus Primal" and "Cheetor" rather than "Convoy" and "Cheetas," and it has no mention at all of Japanese sequel series such as Beast Wars II. Character Information
This section features all the in-show characters, divided by factions.
