Mazinger Z (マジンガーZ Majingā Zetto) is a Super Robot created by the late scientist Jūzō Kabuto and piloted by his grandson Kōji Kabuto. Made to protect the world from the forces of evil Doctor Hell, it is filled with powerful weaponry and covered in Super Alloy Z armor.
It is powered by photon energy and is piloted from a tiny VTOL craft that docks in the head, called the Hover Pilder.
