While Blackrock did practice laps in his racecar on the Speedway, he was interrupted by Ames, who had his boss meet General Capshaw. Capshaw informed Blackrock that the military did not approve of him publicly revealing his new weapon to deal with the giant robots in the area. Blackrock ignored the general's comments.

The next day was the unveiling of Blackrock's "weapon" at the Speedway, and the press were in full frenzy, asking Blackrock various questions about nuclear weapons, the senate, and publicity stunts to increase attendance. Also there was Jazz, who abducted Blackrock and explained to him the difference between the Autobots and the Decepticons. Blackrock was returned to the Speedway, where he went on to show off his Anti-Robot Photonic Multi-Cannon, and was about to display its power on a robot mock-up when it failed to fire. The audience laughed at this apparent fiasco when Circuit Breaker came out of the audience and revealed that she was the saboteur, affecting the weapon with her powers, and proclaimed herself as Blackrock's actual weapon against the robots. As this happened, Starscream and Frenzy arrived on the scene, scaring away the human audience. Jazz was prompted into action, but Circuit Breaker, hating all robots, attacked and brought him to his knees. Wheeljack was also at the scene and transformed, attracting Circuit Breaker's attention as she brought down Starscream. As she was about to destroy Wheeljack, Blackrock begged her to stop, giving the Decepticons an opportunity to escape. Circuit Breaker, owing Blackrock, vented her anger out on the robot mock-up and left the scene, promising to destroy all robots should she ever meet them again. DIS-Integrated Circuits!
