Princess Cadance is a winged unicorn from the land of Equestria. She is the reigning monarch of the Crystal Empire alongside her husband Shining Armor.

Princess Cadance received an urgent message from Smolder and her friends that the Decepticons had all seemingly disappeared from the areas they had been sighted, though the Autobots had suspected this meant they were up to something.
