The name or term "Fusion" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Fusion (disambiguation).
Fusion is an Autobot from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
"I'm expendable!" Yup.

Fusion is a dedicated and selfless soldier, willing to make any sacrifice to protect his friends or the success of a mission. He is a notably gifted marksman, and enjoys testing his skills against those of his friends Bluestreak and Ricochet.[1] His vehicle mode, designed for combat, is not particularly fast.

Fusion appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
We'll never forget you, Fission.

Millions of years ago on Cybertron, Fusion was assigned to escort Bluestreak on a mission to deliver shatter bombs to the Autobot military commander Optimus Prime. Ignoring his own safety, Fusion focused on picking off the Decepticon jets which were hounding his partner. A blast from one of these Decepticons killed Fusion, but Bluestreak was able to complete the mission thanks to his friend's efforts. And There Shall Come...a Leader!
