Transformers: BotBots is an upcoming animated series currently in development. Produced between Entertainment One and television channel Nickelodeon. First announced on February 25, 2021 alongside Transformers: EarthSpark, the new series will be produced by Entertainment One and animated by Boulder Media Studio. The show is set to premiere on Netflix in 2022, with an initial order of 20 episodes.

Premise

By day, the race of tiny transforming robots known as BotBots hide in plain sight as ordinary objects. But by night, they emerge from hiding and get into all sorts of adventures in the shopping mall they call home. When a group of outcasts known as the Lost Bots accidentally run afoul of the mall security guard, they must put aside their differences and band together to protect all of the BotBots from being exposed.

Creative Team

The series will be executive produced by Kevin Burke and Chris Wyatt, who also act as the showrunners for the series. Other known staff include writers Alan Denton and Greg Hahn.
