USS Cyclops (AC-4) is a collier in the United States Navy which was lost at sea in 1918.

When Soundwave was sent to Earth after Operation: Firestorm, he flew through the Bermuda Triangle and was attacked by USS Cyclops, who mistakenly thought Soundwave as a German aircraft. He was later attacked by USS Nereus and Flight 19. Making Waves

The ship in the comic doesn't even remotely look like the real USS Cyclops, but more like a Wickes or Clemson-class destroyer.
