A cyclone gun is a weapon that fires gale-force wind clocked upwards around 400 mph or more. To put that into proper perspective, an F-5 category tornado has the wind speed of 261-to-318 mph. The results are devastating.

During their first battle on Earth, Menasor blasted Superion with a torrent of air from his cyclone gun that sent the Autobot, already weakened by Circuit Breaker, crashing to the ground. Heavy Traffic!

Menasor's Cyclone Gun can be unlocked for use. Instead of generating gale-force wind however, it instead fires large but slow-moving electrostatic spheres that home in on targets. The weapon's function remains the same regardless of who is equipped with it, although Motormaster does not use the weapon himself, only while combined as Menasor. Transformers: Devastation

The Transformers Motormaster includes his long purple cyclone gun holdable both in robot and combiner mode. It was also available in a Menasor giftset and reissued as part of the European/Australian-exclusive Classics toyline.

Generation 2

• Motormaster (Stunticon)

Motormaster was planned to be released as part of the Generation 2 toyline, but was ultimately cancelled. His cyclone gun would presumably have been redecoed along with him.

Notes

• Although Motormaster's instructions and bio both identify his ranged weapon as a cyclone gun, his Universe profile instead calls it an atom-smasher cannon, which is rendered doubly weird by Menasor's profile stating that he uses Motormaster's cyclone gun.
• The Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profiles for Motormaster and Menasor both refer to the weapon as an atom-smasher rifle.
• Though not specifically identified in his bio, Springer's laser is said to produce "giant wind tunnels."
