Combaticon leader Onslaught wields a sonic stun-gun, a weapon capable of "stunning" a hillside into powder. When he combines with his teammates into Bruticus, the fearsome combiner carries the weapon as well. Terrorcon leader Hun-Gurrr also carries a sonic stun-gun, which is also wielded by Abominus.

Decepticons have a funny concept of "stun".

Toys

The Transformers

"Set your weapon to stun, lads." "Don't you mean 'blow them to hell'?" "Same thing."
  • Onslaught (Combaticon, 1986)
    • Accessories: sonic stun gun, double-barreled turret, chest shield, ramp, Bruticus's head, left & right fists, left & right foot stands
The Transformers Onslaught came with a long olive sonic stun gun, as identified in his instructions and the packaging bio accompanying his Tech Specs, which can store on his backpack in either mode via two rectangular pegs which hold onto his gun sight. Holes in the side of the gun are, probably coincidentally, just the right size to peg in the smaller weapons from the other Combaticons—a feature that would be canonized only for the later Ruination version of the mold.
This toy was also included in a Bruticus giftset, available only in Japan and Italy. The mold's redecos Great Cannon and Mega-Octane also came with redecos of the sonic stun gun.

  • Hun-Gurrr (Terrorcon, 1987)
    • Accessories: sonic stun gun, Abominus's head, chest shield, left & right fists, left & right foot stands
The Transformers Hun-Gurrr came with a gray sonic stun gun, identified as such in his instructions and bio. This toy was also available in an Abominus giftset.

Generation 2

  • Onslaught (1993)
    • Accessories: weapon, double-barreled weapon, missile launcher, 2 missiles, chest shield, ramp, Bruticus's head, left & right fists, left & right foot stands
Although only described as a generic weapon in his instructions, Onslaught's packaging bio confirmed that his sonic stun gun had indeed returned for Generation 2, this time in purple.
