Frédéric Cerdal (b. May 9, 1944) is a French actor and director, specialized in theater and voice acting. He studied at the Conservatory.
He is the regular French voice of Michael Caine, and he dubbed several times John Cleese (notably as Nearly Headless Nick in the Harry Potter films), David Strathairn and Robert Forster.
Very prolific in videogame dubbing, he voiced numerous characters including Anton Sokolov in the Dishonored games, Al Mualim in the first Assassin's Creed, Munro Bruys in The Witcher, Mr. House in Fallout, Andrew Ryan in BioShock, Master Eon in all the Skylanders games, Nidas in The Witcher 3, Deckard Cain in the Diablo games, Zeus in the 2018 God of War game...

Notes
- 4 episodes of the Generation 1 cartoon (Child's Play, The Dweller in the Depths, Only Human and The Face of the Nijika) were dubbed (or re-dubbed?) late in France, maybe because the original episodes were lost, not usable or maybe even not dubbed at all.
- For unknown reasons, Frédéric Cerdal stopped voicing his characters in Transformers Animated after the episode 35. All his roles were taken over by Gérard Rouzier for the few remaining episodes.
