The nuclear cybershark drone is Depth Charge's personal weapon, capable of performing reconnaissance for its master. It is also capable of firing two photon torpedos and providing reinforcement for Depth Charge in battle.

- For the Universe redeco of Depthcharge, the tail of the cybershark drone was changed to pop off as a separate piece; this also allows it to spin and makes it easier for Depthcharge to hold it in robot mode.
Notes
[edit]- In the Japanese dub of Beast Wars, the drone is a sapient being and shares Depth Charge's vocal gimmick.

[edit]- ↑ "Kobanzametarō" is composed of kobanzame (小判鮫, "remora"), and Tarō (太郎), a common Japanese name or name suffix literally meaning "eldest son".
- ↑ This is a play on kobanzame (小判鮫), the Japanese word for "remora". Same (鮫, -zame in compound words) means "shark", while koban (小判) refers to a coin used in the Edo period that resembles the sucker on remoras.
