Wasteoid Gamma was among the Junkions that attacked the Autobots stranded on their planet. A Wastoid Gamma rode a Scrapheap into battle while swinging his chain whip. Many Wasteoid Gammas riding other Junkions passed a pair of Scrapheaps being yanked apart while trying to lasso Springer.
The arrival of a shuttle interrupted the battle, and as Hot Rod's party emptied their ship, Wasteoid Gamma walked up next to Wreck-Gar in case the new arrivals would be hostile and his leader would need help. It wouldn't be so; Hot Rod offered the universal greeting and an energon goodie to the Junkions, which convinced them that the Autobots were not enemies. The two groups then spontaneously began to celebrate their newly formed alliance. The Transformers: The Movie
