Young Toys is one of the few South Korean toy companies that, during the 1980s and early 1990s, purchased the license to produce robot toys from companies like Bandai and Hasbro. (Other companies at the time simply produced knock offs.) Young Toys the company that officially imported Chinese-made G1 toys under license from Hasbro into Korea during the early 1990s. They subsequently imported some Hasbro Beast Wars toys in the mid 1990s.
