| A '''Kiss Player''' (キス・プレイヤー ''Kisu Pureiyā'') is one of a few human females that, through a quirk of fate, gained the ability to fuse with giant robots and fight tentacle monsters. They first began to appear in Earth's population shortly after the defeated body of [[Galvatron (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Galvatron]] streaked through the planet's atmosphere and devastated the city of [[Tokyo]]. Their ability is triggered via the titular kiss, and allows them to enter the bodies of robots engineered with [[Parasitech]] technology. The aftermath of this process leaves them nude and soaked in some unidentified viscous liquid. As such, it may not be the most ''practical'' superpower available, even with the advantage of being able to go toe-to-toe with [[Transformer|Cybertronians]].

| Kiss Players were highly sought after by [[Earth Defense Command|EDC]] scientist [[Hitoshizuku Amaō]], to man her organization's newly founded [[Autorooper]] squadrons. It was all a ruse on her part though, as she had discovered the girls' powers were derived from the diffusion of Galvatron's cells from the Tokyo event horizon. This allowed their connection to the Parasitech derived Autoroopers, as they had been reverse-engineered from Galvatron's destroyed body. The distraught scientist hoped to resurrect [[Shizuku Amaō|her daughter]] who had been killed in the explosion, but ultimately only managed to reconstitute the Decepticon leader. Go figure.
