The name or term "Lift-Ticket" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Lift-Ticket (disambiguation).
Lift-Ticket is a Diaclone vehicle from the Diaclone continuity family.
No parking means No parking!

Lift-Ticket is Cline's mech, part of the Diaclone project begun to combat the Waruder invaders. It is primarily equipped for rescue and repair. Its tow-truck mode serves it well for this purpose. In humanoid mode, the mechanisms in its arms enable the mech to lift twice as much as it can tow.

Unlike Burn Out, Lift-Ticket's AI is not based on Cline, being cautious and alert as opposed to Cline's methodical approach. Still, the AI's wariness has saved Cline many times from the Waruders' clutches.

Fiction

TransTech

Crossing dimensions in pursuit of the Waruders, Lift-Ticket/Cline and Burn Out/Dia found themselves stranded on Axiom Nexus. Following a Waruder signal underground, the team bumped into a group of Cybertron's most wanted criminals. Startled, they fled the scene. The groups reconvened as they both wound up within the Waruder hive. Joining forces with C-81's group, as well as General Optimus Prime and Sergeant Hound, they did their best to hold the insectoid invaders at bay. During the battle, the Lift-Ticket mech took a severe blow, disabling it. Thankfully, Cline escaped unharmed, and the Waruders were led off-planet thanks to the collaborative efforts of everyone involved. Cybertron's Most Wanted

Toys

Timelines

The text on his doors doesn't signify that he's a Wrecker, only that he is a "Wrecker Type."
  • Lift-Ticket (Souvenir set, 2015)
    • Accessories: Towing hook/blaster
Timelines Lift-Ticket is a redeco of Generations Thrilling 30 Deluxe Class Hoist, itself a retool of Generations Trailcutter. Lift-Ticket transforms into an off-road truck, and comes with a towing hook that can transform into a blaster and peg via 5 mm post onto any of his numerous ports. This figure was available only in an at-show "Diaclone 2-pack" souvenir set with Burn Out at BotCon 2015.
In terms of assembly error, at least a small number of units have his towing hook assembled backwards. This seems most common in ones bought from the Transformers Collector's Club's web shop sales.
The original tooling of this toy also served as the basis of the non-toy characters Generation 1 Flatline, Wings Universe Turbofire, and Shattered Glass Trailbreaker and Lockdown.

Notes

  • Lift-Ticket is based on 4WD Hi-Lux Wrecker Type, the Diaclone mecha whose toy mold was used to create Generation 1 Hoist. It goes unstated whether Lift-Ticket's home reality has multiple or only one Wrecker Type mecha. This coloration (and the mech's Timelines name) would go on to be used for an Cybertronian character.
  • Lift-Ticket's name is taken from a G.I. Joe character, as Fun Publications also held the G.I. Joe Club license at the time.
  • Salvage was a preliminary name for the character in homage to the the similarly colored Autobot from the 2007 movie toyline, and that name could still be found on BotCon Lift-Ticket's individual polybag.
