The name or term "Roller" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Roller (disambiguation).
Roller is an Autobot from the Dark of the Moon portion of the live-action film series continuity family.
Wanna see me? Get a telescope! I'm in spaaaaaaaace!

Roller pilots the Ark and defends outer space from the Decepticons. He must have a lot of points on his license.

Toys

Dark of the Moon

  • Autobot Ark (Cyberverse Playset, 2011)
Available excusively with the "Autobot Ark" vehicle/playset, "Autobot Roller" is a relatively large Cyberverse Legion Class figure that transforms into a lunar rover of probably made-up origin, with elements of real unmanned vehicles such as the Mars Exploration Rovers and various bomb disposal/manipulator robots. Unlike most Dark of the Moon Legion Class figures, he can wield Cyberverse weapons in both modes, as his oversized right arm (which sports the necessary 3mm clip) also serves as the rover's robotic arm.
The blue paint on his head is notoriously easy to scratch off. The same paint on his back and the flip-up panel there are less likely to get damaged.

  • Autobot Ark with Roller and Bonus Value Sentinel Prime (Cyberverse Playset, 2011)
This Target-exclusive release includes otherwise unchanged Ark and Roller toys, along with a free and equally unchanged figure of the first Cyberverse Sentinel Prime toy.

Notes

  • Roller's robot mode resembles the generic Autobots seen in the Ark in the film, albeit with the addition of lunar rover kibble. Between this and his position as the Ark's pilot, it's likely that he's intended to be one of those Autobots... but it's impossible to tell which one. Interestingly, Cyberverse Flak from the same line also features a very similar facial sculpt to Roller, insinuating that perhaps he may also be based on these generics.
  • Roller's vehicle mode is nearly identical to the Cyberverse Lunar Crawler, only at a much smaller scale.

Foreign names

  • Japanese: Roller (ローラー Rōrā)
