Skidplate is an Autobot from the Transformers Roleplaying Game portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.

A rare Earth-born Transformer, Skidplate is an easygoing 'bot who tries to be everyone's friend. Unfortunately, many people find his demeanor somewhat disconcerting. He transforms into a van.

Skidplate and the other members of the Bee Team were dispatched to Indiana to deal with the Pit Crew, who were attempting to sabotage the Autobot Road. They discovered that the Decepticons had taken control of the nearby Indiana Speedway and seized a recently-landed energon meteor; after a brief showdown with the Decepticons, the team pursued the Decepticons back to their temporary base, where they confronted the Decepticons and their leader Scrap in final battle.
