Hyper Mode is a special super-powered alternate form of a Decepticon's robot form that is used during battle in the Energon franchise. Transforming to Hyper Mode is usually as simple as flipping a gun over a Decepticon's shoulder. A Hyper Mode is basically the opposite of a Powerlinx. It seems the 'Cons are too proud to combine with each other.
Trivia
- Although Megatron explicitly stated that Decepticons do not Powerlinx, he himself links up with Nemesis Breaker on more than one occasion in Cybertron.
- This whole Hyper Mode thing was probably just another part of Hasbro's infamous motto.
