Griffith Observatory

Griffith Observatory is a place in the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Movie_%28franchise%29" title="Movie (franchise)">Movie</a> <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Continuity_family" title="Continuity family">continuity family</a>.

Occasionally, it serves as a place for well-intentioned <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Autobot" title="Autobot">alien robots</a> to regroup and plan their next moves.

• In the real world, Griffith Observatory is located

within the city limits of Los Angeles, California. There's nothing that would explicitly contradict the possibility of it also being located there in the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Transformers_%282007%29" title="Transformers (2007)">movie</a>, although that would make it rather doubtful that <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Sam_Witwicky" title="Sam Witwicky">Sam Witwicky</a>'s home town of <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Tranquility" title="Tranquility">Tranquility</a> is located in the state of Nevada, as claimed by various movie-related media (but not the movie itself).

• Initially, the owners of Griffith Observatory were reluctant to allow the crew of Transformers

to film there, as it was undergoing a major renovation at the time.
