Chopsaw is a Decepticon from the movie continuity family (via the 2010 Transformers toyline).
Welcome to my level, my name is Metal Man!

Chopsaw loves his saws. They're a part of him–and he wants to make them a part of you. The other Decepticons can go off and raid power plants, betray each other, and plot galactic conquest... Chopsaw doesn't care. He doesn't even care who's giving the orders. Just give him something to chop, and he's happy.[1]

Fiction

Ask Vector Prime

In Tyran 208.28 Gamma, Chopsaw was one of the Decepticons assembled by The Fallen after the bulk of the Decepticon forces were stranded by the Autobots on Cybertron. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/08/21

Toys

Transformers (2010)

  • Chopsaw (Scout Class, 2011)
Part of the fourth wave of 2010 Transformers Scout Class toys (the first wave under the Reveal the Shield banner), Chopsaw is a redeco of Hunt for the Decepticons Brimstone, transforming into a "chopper" motorcycle of undetermined model. He has a working kickstand in cycle mode to keep him upright. In robot mode, aside from the triple-bladed "hands" made up from his front tire, he also has small flip-out "fingers" hidden in the wheel hubs for when he doesn't need to slice stuff up. As per the Reveal the Shield subline imprint, Chopsaw has a heat-sensitive rubsign.

Notes

  • Chopsaw's maroon and yellow colors coupled with his motorcycle altmode and nonstandard hands gives him a resemblance to Beast Machines Thrust, whether it's intentional or not is anybody's guess.
