The Wasteland Zone (荒野地帯 Kōya Chitai) is a long stretch of mountainous path.

As the first part of his journey, Ultra Magnus crossed the Wasteland Zone, battling Blitzwings, Ramjet, Cracks, Gosupus, and Hammers. At the end, Magnus entered a mechanical chamber where he battled and defeated Devilstar. Transformers: Mystery of Convoy

In a promotional video for the game, the wasteland zone is rendered in earthy colors. (Stage 1 is also referred to as an "endless desert" in the accompanying comic.)
