- Protectors are a body-type in the War for Cybertron portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Protectors are the strongest of the standard sized units of the Decepticon, Neutral and Autobot armies. They are armed with Photon burst rifles and often accompany Soldiers, Shotgunners and Rocket Soldiers units.
