The Trackers serve as Sentinel Prime's henchmen. They come in three variants: the standard Silver Trackers, the Gold Trackers that serve as Sentinel's personal guard, and the dark-hued Death Trackers that act as Airachnid's enforcers.
Fiction
One film
A batch of Gold trackers were present when Sentinel Prime and Airachnid delivered the energon owed to the Quintessons, unaware that Orion Pax, Elita-1, B-127, and D-16 had witnessed Sentinel's treachery and lies.
A group of Airachnid's Death trackers discovered the miners and descended into the nearby cave, only to find Alpha Trion. Holding him at gunpoint they told the ancient robot to not make a move, only to get mauled by the old timer, leaving only Airachnid to capture the old sage.
When the four miners exited the cave, a pair of silver trackers began to attack them until the miners mastered using their cogs, with one of the trackers getting blasted by D-16.

Airachnid then led a group of trackers to the rogue High Guard's base, where they captured D-16, B-127, Starscream, and a chunk of the High Guard.
One of the energon trains was hijacked by Elita-1 with the High Guard to crash into Sentinel's tower but before that could happen Airachnid and a group of trackers ambushed them, leading to Soundwave to command the remaining High Guards to attack with the help of Orion and the Miners to clear a path to the tower. Once the captives were freed they began to attack and as soon as one of the Gold trackers tried to punch B, the yellow bug gained a battle mask that broke his attacker's hand. The injured tracker tried to punch him again only to have half of his head sliced off by B-127's new "knife hands".
When Orion was trying to find D-16, who was fighting against Sentinel, more trackers arrived to block Orion's path, but they were sliced to pieces by an overjoyed B showing off his new weapons, with the remainder running off in fear. When D-16 charged Sentinel more trackers arrived to only get a beating, before D-16 killed Sentinel himself. One
