Notes

  • Rails originated from Ron Friedman's early draft of what would become The Transformers: The Movie, a train who transformed into a gigantic, snake-like monster. Ultimately, Friedman's original script was heavily revised into the film as we know it today; Rails and many other characters were dropped from the film and went undiscovered until 2022, when Friedman's early draft was uncovered and presented at TFNation 2022. It's probably not a coincidence that Jim Sorenson, who helped dig up and present this early draft to the wider public, had a hand in writing The Enigma of Combination...
