Synopsis

Part 1

Laser Optimus and Optimus Prime discuss the Cyber-City situation with their team. Armada Scavenger gives them a rundown on the Entity, telling the group of how, after his Optimus and Megatron disappeared, there was a power struggle. Amidst the chaos, the Autobots thought they would be able to retake Cyber-City, but while storming the fortress, they activated a contingency plan set up by its new owners that launched part of the city into space. Rumors circulated about an ancient evil that had been brought back within the building's walls, known only as the Entity, which attacked both the Autobots and Decepticons, forcing them to form a temporary alliance. Then, as Scavenger put it, "Disaster!"

Part 2

With the Decepticons, Armada Wheeljack tells a similar story. He explains that, after the Entity struck, it destroyed the airborne portion of the fortress; he suspects that the being came from interdimensional space. Gatorface interrupts him, suggesting they take this to their Megatron, but Armada Megatron reminds them of the vast amounts of advanced weaponry within the fortress that can be theirs if they stay quiet for now. Wheeljack continues his story, describing how the Entity communicated telepathically with them about "the geometry of dissolution" and then broke Cyber-City apart. Megatron has a suspicion about what this Entity may be, but brushes it aside for now. With the recap concluded, the Decepticons begin making preparations to locate the other fallen pieces of their field commander's base of operations and arm themselves with its equipment.

Part 3

Blaster works on tracking the fragments, but his sweep of the global net comes up short. Scavenger explains that he won't be able to track them, because they were scattered interdimensionally, meaning they have to look for traces of space-time continuum breaches. Their universe's Wheeljack gets to work. Skids asks Scavenger about the other Autobots from his universe, and learns that both them and the Decepticons fled in escape pods after the city fell apart. Some made it out, but others are likely to have been brought into this universe with the fortress. Wheeljack notifies them of a new find - a small island off the coast of Panama with traces of lingering quantum filament effervesence. Gears is eager to leave, but Laser Optimus stops him, reminding them all that Armada Megatron's group is also on the hunt for these fragments. Scavenger reveals that, through Wheeljack, he probably also knows by now of "the edge," their last line of defense against the Entity. With this information in mind, Optimus orders the Earthforce to roll out.
