Lightlong takes Optimus to a nondescript cave on Elementros, home of his good friend [[Hydrophant]]. He learns from the elephant Energy Beast that [[Drillnohorn]] hasn't been heard from for a while, and he and Optimus cause Hydrophant to meltdown after failing to properly address the conflict started with the Dinosaur Tribe in a way the sensitive elephant could handle, and they're forced to chase him outside the cave, where they meet the mysterious [[Spirituan]] of the Dinosaur Tribe and [[Ignite Leo]] of the Animal Tribe, the latter of whom Lightlong was confused about their partnership.{{storylink|The Kindhearted Hydrophant}} He tried to convince Ignite Leo to stop attacking them as Optimus' wasn't evil, but his pleas fell on deaf audio receptors and he is easily knocked down. He forms Lightning Optimus once more with his partner to try and even the odds of their fight, but Optimus' not knowing much about Elemental Energy meant that Spirituan easily neutralized their combined Lightning attack with a boulder, and the two probably would have been defeated if not for Hydrophant's intervention and extra oomph he provided via Wildocking with them into Lightning Aqua Optimus.{{storylink|Courage to Protect What's Important}}}}

Lightlong is an Energy Beast from Wild King.

Lightlong (ライトロング Raitorongu) is an eternally curious resident of the planet Elementros. The first to meet Optimus Prime, Lightlong was able to awaken a power with the larger Transformer to face the threat of Megatron.

Possessing Lightning Energy that gives power over thunder, Lightlong is an Energy Beast that can undergo wildocking with an Energy Master.

Ah yes, the giraffe, nature's lightning rod. Apparently.

Part of the first wave of Wild King product, Lightlong transforms into a robotic giraffe. He can also transform into an arm or a leg extension for any Energy Master toy. He has an electric-themed "Lightning Energy" breastplate, which can be detached and re-attached to one of the four ports on the chest of the Energy Master torso, forming part of a large elemental "X". A portion of his beast mode back detaches to form a pickaxe-like melee weapon.
He shares several "core" parts with other Energy Beasts: he has the same torso and thighs as the other three in the wave, and shares biceps with Captain Volca.
