The Esk clones are a nomadic alien race, originally hailing from the planet Eskabar.[1] They appear mechanical and are presumably clones.

[edit]Some of the nomadic Esk clones were gathering solar radiation on the planet Fara. They were surprised to see a shadow covering them from above, for Fara has no night. It was an ill omen indeed, for the darkness blanketing them was none other than the Swarm. It quickly devoured them, leaving behind nothing but metallic skeletons. The Gathering Darkness
