- Part of the second Series of Cyberverse Tiny Turbo Changers, Sideswipe is a redeco of the Hot Rod figure from Series 1, transforming from a soft-plastic robot into a tiny Cybertronian supercar.
- In robot mode, his shoulder-pipes have flames shooting upwards, which don't have enough clearance to not bump into his back-spoiler, limiting his "useful" arm articulation.
- This Series as only barely released in the US, and Sideswipe was one of only four "new" toys in the entire assortment of twelve.
