*"Combination Stealth Mode" is the name of Starscream's and BB's combined form according to the toys' packaging. In the ''Beast Wars II'' cartoon, however, the combination goes by several other names. It is first named in "[[A Fearsome Combination Plan?]]", which is when the combined form first is utilized. There, Starscream calls it the "Combination Mode" (合体モード ''Gattai Mode''). Next in "[[Who Is the Strongest Warrior!?]]", Starscream refers to the combination as the "Combination Formation" (合体フォーメーション ''Gattai Formation''). Lastly and most confusingly, Starscream calls the combined form "Formation Scream" in "[[Assemble, Thirty-Nine Warriors]]". By all other sources, [[Formation Scream]] is the name of Starscream's and BB's synced-up all-or-nothing attack that, on account of Starscream's weaponry being blocked, cannot be done in combined form.
*Whether or not the Combination Stealth Mode qualifies as a [[combiner]] is also something the ''Beast Wars II'' cartoon wavers on. It is not one according to "[[Who Is the Leader!?]]" because the Predacons are frustrated that they don't possess combiner technology, but the Combination Stealth Mode, listed as Formation Scream, shows up in the section of the showcase reserved for the combiners in "[[Assemble, Thirty-Nine Warriors]]".

Toys

Beast Wars

  • Starscream & BB (March 1998)
    • ID number: D-13
Aside from some minor deco changes (mostly involving new decals) and a very minor retool, this Ultra-sized pairing is very similar to the canceled Generation 2 Megatron ATB with Starscream set. In jet modes, BB and Starscream can combine to make the complete Combination Stealth Mode aircraft. BB and Starscream always came packaged together.
This mold pair was also used to make Generation 2 Dreadwing and Smokescreen's combined form, Robots in Disguise Dreadwing, and Robotmasters Gigant Sniper. This set was also reissued in South Korea in Car Bot packaging, reaffiliated as an anonymous Autobot combiner, eventually named as Stealth Bomber.

Notes

  • "Combination Stealth Mode" is the name of Starscream's and BB's combined form according to the toys' packaging. In the Beast Wars II cartoon, however, the combination goes by several other names. It is first named in "A Fearsome Combination Plan?", which is when the combined form first is utilized. There, Starscream calls it the "Combination Mode" (合体モード Gattai Mode). Next in "Who Is the Strongest Warrior!?", Starscream refers to the combination as the "Combination Formation" (合体フォーメーション Gattai Formation). Lastly and most confusingly, Starscream calls the combined form "Formation Scream" in "Assemble, Thirty-Nine Warriors". By all other sources, Formation Scream is the name of Starscream's and BB's synced-up all-or-nothing attack that, on account of Starscream's weaponry being blocked, cannot be done in combined form.
  • Whether or not the Combination Stealth Mode qualifies as a combiner is also something the Beast Wars II cartoon wavers on. It is not one according to "Who Is the Leader!?" because the Predacons are frustrated that they don't possess combiner technology, but the Combination Stealth Mode, listed as Formation Scream, shows up in the section of the showcase reserved for the combiners in "Assemble, Thirty-Nine Warriors".
