An Energy Beast (エナジービースト Enajī Bīsuto) is a Transformer native to Elementros that possesses one of five types of Element Energy. They can also undergo "wildocking" with Energy Masters, forming a limb for them charged with elemental powers. Energy Beast society is traditionally divided into two groups: the self-explanatory Dinosaur Tribe (恐竜族 Kyōryū-zoku) and the more mammalian Animal Tribe (動物族 Dōbutsu-zoku). The planet is divided neatly into territories, each with mutually respected boundaries. However, this could change if the power-hungry Dinosaur Tribe were presented with the right opening...

The Energy Beasts had never made contact with matters outside of their homeworld, until the arrival of Optimus Prime and Megatron. On to Elementros! According to Lightlong, Wildocking is an ability they innately have and know about. The Power of Bonds! Wildocking!
While the Energy Beasts can confer their elemental powers to Energy Masters, they are perfectly capable of using their elemental powers on their own, as shown when Spirituan was able to summon a boulder via his Earth Defense technique without assistance. The Kindhearted Hydrophant

- The Wild King Energy Beasts are small figures who can transform from beasts to robots, and can form either an arm or a leg for the larger Energy Masters. They each come with a piece of Element Energy mounted on their robot mode chests, meant to be attached to the chest port of an Energy Master's chest when combined, to show the elemental power they have conferred on their larger partner.

- Wild King W's Energy Beasts use the same overall 5-Element limb format as the first year's releases, making them compatible with all previous Energy Masters alongside the new toyline's entries. The main attractions here are the brand new characters using existing body templates that introduce more animals and dinosaurs into the roster, while the rest of the line is filled out by Element-swapped variants of Wild King characters. The new Energy Beasts can be slightly more involved than Wild King's, with the newly-tooled parts sometimes providing gimmicks for their individual modes.
Notes
- The Energy Beasts possess a trait to distinguish them among both tribes easily: most Animal Tribe members have their beast mode's head on the right shoulder and the Element Energy plate pointing to the opposite shoulder, and most of the Dinosaur Tribe members have their beast mode's head on the left shoulder and the Element Energy plate pointing to the opposite shoulder, except for Thunderbeak and Skyreport who have their beast modes' head connected to their wings on the back.
