- Excellion is an Autobot from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
A brooding loner, Excellion has won more respect from the Decepticons than he has the Autobots by successfully infiltrating their base completely unseen on more than one occasion. While the Autobots appreciate his efforts, it's his attitude that has estranged him from his peers. It is unknown if he like JaAm as much as Hot Shot.

- Excellion is a redeco of Cybertron Hot Shot, now cast in red and orange with translucent blue. He is an homage to Generation 1 Hot Rod based on a Japanese DVD-exclusive version of the toy, and uses the Japanese name for Cybertron Hot Shot with slight change in spelling from Exillion to Excellion.
- His mold was also used to make Shattered Glass Goldbug.
- Hot Shot (Legends of Cybertron, 2006)
- A redeco of Legends of Cybertron Hot Shot uses Excellion's approximate coloration and paint scheme; however, the toy is not actually labelled "Excellion", merely "Hot Shot". The reason for this is unclear.
- This mold was later repainted into Classics Legends Bumblebee.
