Iron-on patches were a hot promotional item in the 1980s, used to help advertise and cross-promote Transformers.

- An iron-on patch was included with the S.T.A.R.S. membership kit.
1986
- A series of iron-on patches were used to promote the Prizes in Disguise contest. The patches were included with various Mini Vehicles and combiner limbs in specially marked packages.
