- The military transport is a Decepticon Micromaster vehicle from the Generation 1 continuity family.

On his own, Roughstuff is fast but ground-bound. With his military transport trailer, however, he can take to the skies. The transport converts from a towed trailer with proton missiles to an open-top fighter jet that Roughstuff can pilot up to suborbital heights. In jet mode, the trailer retains the use of its missiles and adds a pair plasma pulse guns to its arsenal.
Toys
Generation 1
- Roughstuff (Micromaster Transport, 1989)
- Accessories: Roughstuff Micromaster, missile turret, 2 missiles
- Roughstuff was sold carded with his trailer. In jet mode, the transport has an open seat that Roughstuff can sit in. A "control bar" (resembling the safety bar on a carnival ride) keeps him from flying out. The "missile turret" must be physically removed and relocated when converting the trailer from one mode to the other.
- This toy was sold in Japan without changes as the Autobot Missile Bull's "Micro TF DX" vehicle.
