In an alternate universe where Sam Witwicky was killed and the Decepticons won, a major Decepticon outpost was located near Savannah; here, the All Spark was kept and used to transform Earth into a new Cybertron. Ironhide and Ratchet attempted to infiltrate this outpost, where they fought Bonecrusher. Transformers Comic issue 11

Following the liberation of America, Savannah became the site for both an emergency medical shelter and an Autobot base. Mikaela Banes took a position of authority at the shelter. The close proximity of both locations led to the Decepticons attacking the shelter so that when the Autobots arrived to help, they would be wiped out by NATO forces under Decepticon mind control. Thanks to Bumblebee and Mikaela, the plan was foiled. Transformers Comic issue 14 Transformers Comic issue 15
