Nicholas works for America's super-spy organization S.H.I.E.L.D. with his pal Dum Dum. He smokes cigars and wears an eyepatch.
When the Transformers cause their first ruckus upon waking up in 1984, Nicholas hopes it isn't "that big green, fire-snortin' lizard" again.
It doesn't appear that the two ever actually looked into what was going on in Oregon at all. Or if they did, they sure didn't do anything about it.
