The name Beast has been applied to:
- The Beast, the combined form of the Dinobots in "The Beast Within", an ill-advised corner of Generation 1.
The Beast should not be confused with...
- Beest, a planet from the Headmasters portion of Generation 1.
- Beastformers, the indigenous people of Beest.
- Jungle Planet, a world from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy which is very occasionally referred to as "Beast Planet".
- Beast Wars, a highly successful Transformers franchise in the Generation 1 continuity family.
- Beast Machines, the sequel to the above franchise.
- Beast Changer (AKA Savage/Noble) from Beast Machines.
- Beast Era, which roughly means "the years of Beast Wars and Beast Machines" and is most often used to describe the two franchises as a single entity.
- Beast mode, a term for the alt mode of Transformers who turn into shapes resembling organic creatures.
- Anything which is not terrible.
