QuickFire is an Autobot-allied Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
You can't see me!

This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.

QuickFire has spent too much time fighting. Though he believes in the Autobot cause, he aches at the oil he's spilled and the lives he's helped take. QuickFire is a healer that specializes in electro-magnetic stimulus. He's tremendously devoted to his Autobot partner RipTide.

Quickfire transforms into a diesel engine block that combines with RipTide in all modes. In robot mode, he's the size of an average human.

He also has a poor grasp of human idiom.

Legends anthology

When RipTide was injured in battle, QuickFire transported the two of them to Earth, a world he knew many Mini-Cons had fled to. Encountering the thought-transmissions of a distressed human telepath, QuickFire notices his painstakingly cared-for 1957 Ford Pickup Nelly Belle, and falls instantly in love. Reconfiguring RipTide into a Mack Truck based on the human's memories, QuickFire approaches Jake Williams, offering to travel across the country hauling cargo with him.

QuickFire constructs a special place for Jake's pickup, whom he re-christens with the Galactic name Starheart, cherishing her at every opportunity with a… a…
Look, he has sex with the truck, alright?

QuickFire's repairs to RipTide proceed slowly, at one point requiring him to shut down and do nothing else for a week in near-hibernation.

He finds a kindred spirit in Jake, and the long hours driving cross-country affords QuickFire the time for self-examination to realize he has become a pacifist; no longer willing to take another life for any cause.

Forced by circumstances to intervene in a battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons that threatens America's west coast, RipTide finally awakens, battling Megatron. QuickFire is saved from capture by an unlikely source— Jake.

With disaster averted, QuickFire and RipTide return to their journeys with Jake. Lonesome Diesel

Trivia

  • Unlike virtually every other Transformer medic, QuickFire has no trouble treating human patients. This appears to be because he uses a form of electromagnetic therapy, not direct surgery.
