- Hytherion is a monster from the Alternity portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Also known as the "Beast of Time," Hytherion is a hyper-dimensional creature of immense power and destructive potential, capable of traveling freely throughout universal streams. Normally invisible and intangible to lower-dimensional beings, Hytherion is opposed by the enlightened protectors known as the Alternity, an evolved form of Cybertronian life. It is prophesied that the evil Megatron will lead the creature to destroy the Earth.
