Rod's only toy is a redeco of the Mini-Con Sparkplug, transforming into a Lamborghini Diablo. He was sold as part of the first Micron Booster assortment (called "Ver.0") in Japan, in individual, blind-packed boxes so you did not know which Mini-Con you got until you opened the box and opaque black plastic bag inside.
Rod uses the same mold as Atlas. A retool of the mold is used for Chrome, Synapse and Thyristor.
