:I think it's a misinterpretation of [http://www.physics.ohio-state.edu/~sstoneb/tf/books/coloring/patrol/patrol-12.jpg this scan here]. It looks as if Mirage has an old-fashioned fighter pilot twirly moustache, but I think it's actually supposed to be his mouth (compare his face with that of Bumblebee to the right). In other scans (e.g. [http://www.physics.ohio-state.edu/~sstoneb/tf/books/coloring/patrol/patrol-34.jpg this one] and the line-up [http://www.physics.ohio-state.edu/~sstoneb/tf/books/coloring/patrol/patrol-09.jpg here]) Mirage's face furniture seems to consist of, from top to bottom, nostrils, a mouth, and a dimple in his chin, or possibly one of those little goatee micro-beards that were popular in the 1990s amongst slacker types such as e.g. Steve Buscemi. I do not see a moustache. -[[User:Ashley Pomeroy|Ashley Pomeroy]] 10:03, 16 August 2009 (EDT)

Not to mention that Ravage almost squashes an elephant. Yikes. I actually had this one as a kid and thought that the 'bots looked bizarre- particularly Bumblebee. Dj convoy 20:40, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

I'm not seeing the mustache?

I think it's a misinterpretation of this scan here. It looks as if Mirage has an old-fashioned fighter pilot twirly moustache, but I think it's actually supposed to be his mouth (compare his face with that of Bumblebee to the right). In other scans (e.g. this one and the line-up here) Mirage's face furniture seems to consist of, from top to bottom, nostrils, a mouth, and a dimple in his chin, or possibly one of those little goatee micro-beards that were popular in the 1990s amongst slacker types such as e.g. Steve Buscemi. I do not see a moustache. -Ashley Pomeroy 10:03, 16 August 2009 (EDT)
