On March 28, 1979 Sector Seven (or its affiliates) attempted to extract a sample of All Spark's sub-atomic matter, resulting in a meltdown at the Three Mile Island nuclear plant. Movie Prequel #4 Transformers: Beginnings
It is not clear if the cube was relocated for the attempt, or if the meltdown resulted from some sort of backlash across the US power grid which joined Three Mile Island and Hoover Dam
When discussing this incident with fellow Sector Seven agents, Simmons referred to the parties responsible as "someone" rather than "we," so it may not have been a S7 operation.
