Free Comic Book Day

Free Comic Book Day is an international event in which good little boys and girls get free comics! It is held on the first weekend of May every year.

Publishers often give away (sometimes partial) reprints of stories from a few of their current comic lines in a bid to draw money attention to the series they originally featured in.
