Pathfinder is a female repaint of the Autobot Cosmos that was released as part of an E-hobby exclusive set. Her colors are based on an early cataloge picture of the toy that would be Cosmos.
The intention was for these recolored minibots to be Go-Bots characters that had traveled to the Transformers universe and were infiltrating Cybertron. The original Pathfinder was a female Guardian spaceship.
This backstory developed for the toys was left out when Takara got skitish about using Go-bot stuff.
