This article is about the Autobot Mini-Con birdie. For the human millionaire industrialist, see G.B. Blackrock.
"Flashback" redirects here. For the comic issue, see Flashback!.
Blockrock is a Autobot-allied Mini-Con from the Classics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family (via the Universe "Classic Series").
Transforms into a pony keg, perfect for rocking the block.

Blockrock is Blaster's Mini-Con buddy. He rocks the block.

Universe (2008)

Classic Series

  • Autobot Blaster with Blockrock Mini-Con! (Voyager, 2008)
Available only with his larger partner "Autobot Blaster", Blockrock is a redeco of the Cybertron "Mini-Con" Laserbeak, transforming from a hexagonal turbine into a robotic bird. In turbine mode he can be stored in Blaster's chest compartment, or on the underside either wing.
Blockrock can perch on the tips of Blaster's wings in his condor form by inserting his peg into one of the trailing edge holes, as well as Blaster's right arm. Despite his Mini-Con branding, he does not have a Powerlinx socket.
This mold was also used to make Hell Buzzsaw.

Trivia

  • Autobot Blaster's packaging-back bio refers to him having a partner called "Flashback". However, "Flashback" is not present on the online version of the bio, being replaced with "Blockrock". Obviously, the packaging bio accidentally uses an earlier name for the Mini-Con bird.
  • His red coloration may be an homage to Graphy, an existing partner to Blaster.
